For Immediate Release April 28th - Brooksville, Florida. " The most customizable wallet yet." Being able to use a shop and develop the Sapling Aluminum Series wallets himself rather then pay someone else to "stamp-out" a production run of the wallets has given John McConnell, the designer and manufacturer, the ability to be more creative with the design process of the wallets. During the prototyping phase of the Sapling Aluminum Series wallets John has come up with three different face types for the wallet to choose from. He's calling them, Stealth , Crosshatch, and Classic aluminum series. Besides different face options to choose from there are also color choices of gold, black, and silver and even an option to get a custom name engraving on the wallets.
The wallet which has dimensions of 2.5" x 4" x 0.25" is machined from aluminum, bead blasted, and hard coat anodized to create a look that is both nice to look at as well as durable. The design with the elastic band allows the band to expand enough to hold up to 8 cards and also can act as a money clip to hold some cash.
The wallet was designed, prototyped, and will be produced in the USA by John himself. Doing so will allow him to see that all the different steps and processes of the manufacturing run smoothly.
John is looking to raise 5k USD in order to run a first production run that will cover cost of materials and allow him to meet minimums on coloring costs. The all or nothing campaign will be running for 40 days.
